Millions of us guys out there are online dating these days and want to give off the best possible impression that we can give. Especially when it comes to the appearance of taking care of ourselves.

While being in perfect shape doesn't necessarily determine whether or not we will be successful at meeting women online, being in shape sure doesn't hurt either. In addition, many of us gain weight over the winter. We don't want to have the appearance of looking one way in our pictures and a different way in person.

For these reasons it is always a good idea to get back in shape for summer. The following ideas are tips for doing so in order to ensure ourselves that we will have the optimal online dating experience.

1. Stay hydrated with water. Staying hydrated with plenty of water is absolutely critical. This is the key to burning fat at rapid paces and maintaining that metabolism we have always dreamed of. The truth is we are supposed to drink up to 12 bottles of water a day. While this may seem extreme for some of us, it cannot be argued, most of us do not even come close to this number. So be sure to stay hydrated and drink up!


2. Eat more than three meals a day. Eating just three meals a day is one of the worst habits that Americans have. While this is what most of us were raised on, it is actually terrible for our bodies. It results in maintaining more fat, as well as overeating. What you should be doing is putting some type of food in your body every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day in small doses as opposed to having three big meals.

3. Hit the gym. This sounds so obvious but so many people fail to go and actually hit the gym. Eating healthy can only do so much. Eventually our bodies reach a point where they peak off and adapt to the eating habits we have. It takes lifting weights, doing cardio, and staying active to take our bodies to that next level.

These are just three of the many ways that you can get into shape before summer comes. Online dating is not easy. Put yourself in a position to succeed by having a great body.
